This page lists fountains that are currently not in operation due to repairs or being in a state to where the fountain will not be put back into operation until repairs can be made. This list will be updated as often as I get information. Also, this list will only have fountains that I have on the website. There may be other fountains out of service that I am aware of but do not have a page dedicated to them yet.
Please keep in mind that repairing fountains, like all civic projects, takes money and if that money is not readily available then actions have to be taken to remedy the situation in the short-term until a long-term solution can be undertaken. Unfortunately, sometimes the short-term remedy is to take the fountain out of operation. Time and Mother Nature take their tolls on the fountains and sometimes a repair is much more involved than just changing out a valve or replacing a broken pipe. If you would like to see if you can help out, contact the City of Fountains Foundation (go to the Links page) and/or contact the entity that owns or maintains the fountain(s) in which you are interested.
