This fountain can be found in front of the Arabia Steamboat Museum in the River Market area, north of downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The sculpture is called “The Vision” by artist Jim Brothers which features a boy sharing his vision of the future with his dog.
The fountain was not running when I took my pictures. However, there was some loose change in the basin so that makes me think it had been running recently. Either that, or the basin was full of rain water when the pennies were thrown in.

At the entrance to the Thousand Oaks addition in Parkville sits this large and elaborate waterfall fountain surrounded by landscaping and three stone benches. In the middle of the pool there is a sculpture of four children and a dog walking across a log. There are numerous waterfalls at different levels. I would estimate it is 12 to 15 feet tall in the middle of the structure.

Located in the plaza approximately halfway between the old and new Johnson County Courthouses. The sculpture consists of a boy, girl and a dog running with 5 doves in flight overhead. Has also been called the Olathe City Hall Fountain as, apparently, it was once located at or near the Olathe City Hall. A plaque on the fountain dedicates the fountain to those children lost on the trails during the settler days.
