Lions Club Fountain
Found: June 18, 2014
This small fountain is tucked inside these large evergreen trees behind the aquatic center in Leawood City Park. If the flagpole wasn’t there, you would probably not even realize that there was something located in those trees.
The fountain itself consists of a single lion’s head from which water spurts out into the pool below. The fountain is dedicated to past, present and future members of the Leawood chapter of the Lions Club. The flagpole is located behind the fountain and predates it actually. There is a dedication plaque at its foot.
The Leawood City Park Fountain is south of here.
